This weekend sees one of the highlights of the Guernsey Softball Association’s calendar with the Guernsey Slow Pitch Open being held over the three day bank holiday weekend.

The Association is pleased to welcome back two UK teams from the Solent Softball league – Sharks and Shafting. Shafting will be hoping to retain the trophy which they won last year by beating their fellow league team Sharks in the final.

Local teams Tornados, NRG Rangers, Norman Piette Blue Sox and ArcTech Panthers will be battling it out to try to keep the trophy in local hands.

Play starts at 10.00am each day with the last games of the day scheduled for a 4.00pm start. The final is scheduled for 4.00pm on Monday afternoon. Spectators are more than welcome with all games being played on the two softball diamonds at Beau Sejour Park.
