All Division KO Semi/Final Games – Rearranged

The All Div KO Semi 2 game (between Rangers B and Tornadoes, Rookies to umpire) and the All Div Final (between Mercator and winner of Semi 2), which were postponed on Saturday 14th August, are now to be played this coming Saturday, 28th August, at 2.00pm and 4.00pm respectively.

2010 Sportingbet Division League Winners

Congratulations to Trust Corporation Tornadoes for winning the 2010 Sportingbet Division 1 League and to Drunken Duck Rangers B for winning the 2010 Sportingbet Division 2 League.

Both sides will travel to Jersey on September 4th to play the Corefocus Division 1 and 2 League winners in the Annual Softball Upton.

Tornadoes will be looking to retain the Division 1 Upton trophy while Rangers B will be hoping to add the Division 2 Upton trophy to their 2010 collection!

Congratulations also to Drunken Duck Rangers Men for winning the 2010 Sportingbet Mens League for the second year running.

GSA Annual Dinner & Dance

All Division KO Semi/Final Games – Postponed

Due to the ‘adverse weather’ conditions on Saturday 14th August the All Div KO Semi 2 game (between Rangers B and Tornadoes) and the All Div Final (between Mercator and winner of Semi 2), which were due to be played at 2.00pm and 4.00pm respectively, have been postponed.

These games will be re-arranged and the dates posted on this website as soon as possible.

2010 Men’s Fastpitch European Championships

The 2010 Men’s Fastpitch European Championships take place next week in the Czech Republic and if anyone is interested, there are select games scheduled for broadcast on Czech TV (as listed below). The results etc. can be found on the Tournament Website.

It’s not clear if these games will be available for viewing after they have been shown at the scheduled time(s). However, there are still games from previously broadcast Czech tournaments available through the TV Channel’s website so it would seem possible that these will also be archived (type in ‘softball’ in the search box).

Sportingbet Mens Division – Rescheduled Game

The postponed Mens game on Wednesday 14th July at 7pm between Drunken Duck Rangers and Ship and Crown Rocquettes has now been rescheduled.

The fixture for this game is now to be played on Wednesday 18th August on the top pitch at 6.30pm.

As you are aware the All Division and Division 1 Knock Out games are taking place on the 22nd, 24th and 31st July and umpires have had to be sourced for these games.

The Division 1 game scheduled for Saturday 31st July at 4pm between Mercator and Panthers (with Rangers A umpiring) has been re-arranged.

The fixture for this game is now to be played on Tuesday 3rd August on the bottom pitch at 7pm.
